Kernow - National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage
Cornwall is a cultural living landscape, shaped by the symbiosis of human activity and the natural environment.
Cultural intangible heritage is very broad, it covers a range of categories that play an important role in the identity, pride, and unity of communities across Cornwall.
This can include: local knowledge, folklore, performing arts, sports, social or culinary customs, and crafts.
So many of these activities and knowledge are unrecorded & are thus at risk of being lost - we want to change that!
If there is anything you can think of, whether it is local to you or Cornwall-wide, we want to hear about it from you.
This survey is quick & only needs you to describe what you would like to have recorded. We might also want to get in touch for more information, if you're happy for us to reach out.
