Cornish & Celtic Themed Music

Here Celtic Nation Kernow shares a variety of music from Cornwall.

During 2021 when St Piran's celebrations were moved online due to the pandemic a series of videos were produced to showcase music from Cornwall. This was a collaboration between Celtic Nation Kernow (Celtic Congress Cornwall) Urban Kelt and musicians who either gave their time or allowed their music to be shared. Videos were edited and published by Kowethas Ertach Kernow and hosted on their Association for Cornish Heritage YouTube Channel.

Celtic Nation Kernow is pleased to share these as part of the rebranded website along with other music from Cornwall

Cornish Anthems

'Bro Goth Agan Tasow' is the Cornish National Anthem. Here it is sung in Kernewek with words underneath allowing viewers to follow and learn the words. Translated the title means Old land of our fathers and shares the same tune as the national anthems of Cymru (Wales) and Breizh (Brittany)

Cornish Musicians

Finley Bray

Finley Bray is a young Celtic folk musician playing tunes on guitar and recently banjo with help from friends. He is influenced by music from Cornwall, Ireland and Scotland.

He is a member of Celtic Nation Kernow and supports the sharing of music from the Celtic nations as well as Celtic identity and culture.
