Celtic Nation Kernow at Konsel Kernow EXPO 2025

The Celtic Nation Kernow team attended the Konsel Kernow heritage exhibition at Pendennis Castle having an excellent day meeting many students and young people who came looking for ideas for careers in the Cornish heritage sector

We shared our vision and goals of promoting Cornish heritage and gave advice on how involvement with heritage organisations could help forward their career prospects. Our other aims were to let people know what our goals are and what we are working on at the moment and encourage young people to become involved.

Our FREE membership promotion was very successful with 22 new members joining Celtic Nation Kernow. We really appreciate members contributing something to Celtic Nation Kernow such as articles for the website, newsletter or videos relating to Cornish and wider Celtic themes. Contact us at celticnationkernow@gmail.com.

Once again we were pleased to be working with the Truro College humanities department who were promoting their foundation degree courses in History Heritage and Culture, and Archaeology. Celtic Nation Kernow thank them for their mutual support.

There was a large number of contributors and a very useful day for students thinking about careers in Cornish heritage. Unfortunately day two of this event was cancelled due to the impending 'Storm Amy' blowing in with high winds which would have impacted the marquee.

If you have images you would like to share sent them to celticnationkernow@gmail.com We're really looking forward to next year's EXPO. Hopefully no relation of Amy will come visiting..
